AVLS PACKAGE

The mapping station application receives information via a tetra fixed mobile radio. Location information is sent from any vehicle fitted with a GPS receiver via short data service messages over the infrastructure control channel. The GPS information may be in a number of pre-defined formats. These formats are subsets from the GPGLL and other NMEA protocol and contain selections from location, time, date and speed etc.

The package will run on a single PC and gives the features detailed below. It interfaces into the Tetra network via a fixed mobile.
